Actor/Producer
SoHo Shakespeare Company's Antigone
Anouilh’s Antigone was first produced under the Nazi occupation of France in February, 1942. It passed the Nazi censors, and was approved for production by the Third Reich. Perhaps the classical title was a distraction.
In the not-so-distant future:
The time is 2030, and the neo-fascist Regime 47 has entered its Third Term in The United States. Creon is a King who rules over the North East Quarter of the country, while the 47th President continues to rule over all, now hailed as Supreme Leader. What will Creon do to maintain a fragile peace? What will Antigone do to break the illusion?

Who Does Your Laundry? is a comedic exploration of the value we place on time, money and art in a capitalist society.
By centering two characters from vastly different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, we confront themes of immigration, class disparity, artistic survival, and the American quirks we foreigners find amusing.
As artists with a shared foundation in comedy, we believe humor can disarm, disrupt, and open audiences to the inner worlds of others. In this piece, we use it as a vehicle to draw viewers into the intimate, often unspoken tensions between art and commerce, pathos and logos, and presence and survival.
The project was born from a personal urge to identify and grapple with the daily struggles of living as immigrant artists in the US. From survival jobs, to questioning if this is the right path for you, to having to reassure yourself and others that this work is important.
As an Australian and an Argentinian, we carry multiple lenses through which we observe and interpret the world, and this duality deeply informs our storytelling.
We hope Who Does Your Laundry? invites audiences to reconsider the value systems that shape our lives whilst having a good old laugh as well.

SoHo Shakespeare Co, NYC
Company Associate
SoHo Shakes is a collective of crafty theatre makers challenging the mainstream narrative by making space for the overlooked to rise up, be heard, and take center stage.
Our mission is to develop radical reinterpretations of classic texts and bold new works by rabble-rousing storytellers. Through live productions, community programs, education, and outreach, we are dedicated to giving voice to the voiceless.
History is told by those who hold the microphone, but it’s up to us to find the truth. Like the fox, forever digging and diving, theatre must always look to uncover hidden truths by listening to the people, in all our glorious diversity.
